Back in 1975, when turntables filled the stores in Seattle’s University District, three friends started Definitive Audio in a shop dedicated to high-performance audio. On the weekends, customers would pack into their small store to experience music coming from some of the finest audio equipment in the world. Not only did customers share our love for music, they wanted to recreate this experience in their home.

Over the years, some things have changed but their passion for music has not. They have stayed true to their roots in audio, while expanding their services gradually over time. Today, Definitive has grown to be the most established residential and commercial integration company in the Pacific Northwest.
